Chanakya tower , in which I booked the room is a filthy place, i had to upgrade my room to executive one which is in the main building , the banquet halls are not wheelchair accessible

Disappointing
Despite calling in advance the hotel staff at check-in had no idea I had a reservation. The staff took my phone and started sending emails and taking pictures of my email from booking.com without asking me. That was super unprofessional! The hotel bathrooms have not been maintained. So even though it is clean in the conventional sense, it appears dirty. The bathtub had black patches in multiple places. Same for wall corners. Same for the bedding. The sheets were probably washed but they appeared dirty. I tried to cancel my reservation and there was so much confusion around it. One minute I was told it is cancelled, then I was told it couldn’t be cancelled. They had no clarity regarding the pre-payment policy and asked my to find rant myself. There was no coordination at the desk and it seemed like there was no communication between staff from different shifts and no clarity on whose responsibility is what. This is a minor issue, but on 2/3 days I could hear the staff talking in the corridors from inside my room. And that was very early in the morning. Before 5 am. On the last day, there was a wedding and they let the music folks play drums for one hour at the hotel door which was kept below my room. After requesting they did move me to a different room, but overall there was no prior notification that such an event is happening and if I’d like to change my room; or atleast limit the duration given I’d called them 15 mins into the start about how long this would continue (to which I was told a matter of a few more mins). Overall, the service was very poor, and definitely not worth the price charged by the property.

There was a mouse in my room. The food was basic and very little courtesy from the Hotel staffs. Also, not worth the room tariffs that they charge.

From reception to room, on needs to go out and come inside a different building. Its not convenient during rainy season.
